A lively lab

"And the winner is..." - winners of the FRAME AWARDS 2018.

Wilkhahn featured in several places at once in Amsterdam’s Gashouder Westergasfabriek: it was there as an exhibitor with a wall installation especially developed for the Lab showing its 3D-printed PrintStool One at various stages and with different structures. The installation also provided the backdrop for an unusual furniture setting consisting of red and orange chairs and the matching mAx folding table – a very popular photo opportunity for social-media-savvy visitors.

Further PrintStools in the World Lab, IN office chairs and Stand-ups in the Wellness Lab and new Metrik cantilever chairs in the café fostered motion while people were sitting. Neos cantilever chairs paired with Timetable Shift tables in the Workshop tent demonstrated the potential for the integrative design concept so typical of Wilkhahn, while visitors sat on airily light Aline chairs in the main presentation area.

And finally, Wilkhahn’s desire to encourage more physical activity was also a subject for the panel discussion on How to Bring Wellness to Work: Burkhard Remmers, Wilkhahn’s press officer, Carla Cammilla Hjort, founder of Space10, Oliver Heath founder of Heath Design and Sevil Peach, founder of SevilPeach Architektur + Design, used the platform to discuss various aspects of health and wellness in offices. On the previous evening, Peach had received the Frame Lifetime Achievement Award for her life’s work. Wilkhahn would like to congratulate her and all the other winners in the Frame Awards’ over 20 categories.
