Versatile and classy

20.08.2018

Sometimes judges’ comments bowl over even the old hands amongst marketing experts. But we feel very honoured by the remarks made by the judges of this year’s Red Dot Award about our mAx folding table and stackable Aula chair. The accolade pays testimony to our endeavours to come up with excellent design and combine it with a high level of functionality and practicality. Tasters: “The crisp design of the Aula multipurpose chair is impressive for its sophisticated combination of practicality and a timeless aesthetic.” Or: “The coherent design of the mAx conference table stands apart for its versatility, functionality and classy look”. This is praise indeed. After all, the list of the 2018 judges again resembles a who’s who of the international designer elite with shoe designer idol Jimmy Choo, creative director Dick Spierenburg and German furniture designer Werner Aisslinger. The awards ceremony took place in the Aalto Theatre in Essen in July 2018 with the subsequent party held on the Zeche Zollverein premises, which is a World Heritage Site.

The stackable Aula multipurpose chair (design: Wolfgang C.R. Mezger) was chosen in the Red Dot Award 2018’s Winner category.
