Wilkhahn Japan pulled off a successful market launch in mid-July. Stuttgart-based designers Markus Jehs and Jürgen Laub presented the new Occo chair and table range during a VIP dinner in THE GRAND GINZA restaurant. Guests were able to try out the new range on the top floor of GINZA SIX in the middle of the famous shopping mall. The restaurant had been fully equipped for the occasion with Occo chairs. In keeping with tradition, the two designers were clothed in a jukata, a light summer kimono.

Further presentations were made following the VIP, one of which was at Kokuyo, one of the biggest Japanese companies in the industry. The range was shown to around 350 guests over two event-packed days. And Markus Jehs and Jürgen Laub were clearly very impressed by the hospitality, professionalism and enthusiasm that they encountered.
