The 29th MIPIM property event took place in the south of France in Cannes from 13 to 16 March 2018. Leading players in the real estate market, international investors and regional and urban representatives convene every year at the renowned show. This year, a total of 29 German architectural studios and engineering companies and partners exhibited on the joint German Pavilion stand. Well-known studios such as HENN Architekten, kadawittfeldarchitektur, LAVA Laboratory for Visionary Architecture oder priedemann facade experts, but also organisations like the German Federal Foundation for the Culture of Building were on board this year. The stand is organised by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the Network for Architecture Exchange (NAX) and AUMA, the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry.

With around 24,000 visitors from 100 countries, MIPIM’s focus lies on the networking character of the four-day event and the German Pavilion acts as an appealing meeting point. Important business contacts at national and international level are made and developed here on Wilkhahn furniture: whether people are sitting on IN counter stools, Stitz sitting-leaning stools, Aline chairs, Timetable tables, Velas lounge chairs or Asienta sofas – the Wilkhahn furniture in the pavilion encourages both lively and relaxed discussions. And people can toast their success here too!
