Wilkhahn’s tip: plan now for ORGATEC events

29.09.2016 | by Wilkhahn Germany

One of ORGATEC’s key information and communications platforms is the Speakers’ Corner in hall 11.2. Exhibitors will be just some of the people who have the opportunity to speak there – one of whom is Wilkhahn’s Burkhard Remmers. On 26 October, from 11 a.m. onwards he’ll be talking about “The office as a place of motion – why ergonomics needs a rethink” (in German). Admittance is free of charge.

The Trendforum in hall 6 will also be inviting people to come on Tuesday and Wednesday. It will offer a daily programme about office design and working culture.

On the first day of the trade fair, in other words on 25 October, the awards ceremony for the “Office & Environment” competition will take place on Trendforum’s stage. Since 2008 the German Association of Environmental Management e. V. (B.A.U.M.) has been holding the competition each year to pay tribute to Germany’s most environmentally friendly offices. The focus is placed on using resources sparingly in offices and on paying attention to environmental and sustainability aspects when purchasing office supplies.

The workplace congress on 27 October, which will be hosted by Der Facility Manager and industrieBAU magazines, is all about solutions for offices. Guests can expect plenty of expertise, best practice tips and opportunities to talk to one another there. Wilkhahn will be holding a presentation there too (at 11.05 a.m.: Dynamic spaces – activity-driven rooms, in German). Participation in the congress is subject to a charge.
You can register for it at Facility manager.

Anyone who would like to book a guided tour of the trade show can choose between two options: Mensch&Büro-Akademie (MBA) and PRIMA VIER Verlag Frank Nehring (P4) will be offering guided tours focusing on health and ergonomics or design and innovations on 26, 27 and 28 October.
The tours are free but you need to register at office-work.

Bauverlag’s motto of its guided tours on four days of ORGATEC is “Actively encouraging dialogue between architects, interior designers, lighting planners and exhibitors”.
You also need to register for these at Bauverlag events.
