Counter-top seating is used where people work sitting down but want to be at the same height as and engage with customers or colleagues at info counters, airport check-ins, standing desks in project spaces and in hotel receptions at the same level. And in future this will be possible with Trimension® too. Wilkhahn’s ON and IN office task chairs, complete with the three-dimensional comfort of Trimension®, are now available as counter-height versions. Trimension® encourages our bodies to move forwards, backwards and sideways as well as our pelvises to rotate too – which is so important for the spine’s stability and cuts the risk of backache.
The most obvious feature that distinguishes the counter-height versions from the original models is of course their height. The ON counter-height chair can be adjusted to a seating height of between 68 and 81 cm and the IN counter-height chair from 66 to 78 cm. A bright, chrome-plated foot ring and twin-wheel swivel castors with load-depending braking make both models flexible and safe to move around on. Both counter-height chairs are based on the classic foot ring from the ON 170 range. The new models include the same characteristics and quality that the IN and ON task chairs are well-known for.
