Experience dynamic workplace pioneers

26.06.2017
Burkhard Remmers (International Communications at Wilkhahn) presents the IN office task chair at the Active Office Awards ceremony.

“The design’s fantastic. The IN chair looks very smart and modern. (…) It’s very comfortable and pleasant to sit on for long periods of time”. We couldn’t have wished for a more impressive evaluation of our IN office task chair than this one that Alexander Paul, architect and senior workplace consultant, gave us. His statement is part of a filmed interview that the Eurocres office experts shot as part of the exhibition of the Active Office Award shown in Berlin. Wilkhahn’s IN office task chair (design: wiege) and our PrintStool One (design: Thorsten Franck) were two of the ten products that garnered an award and were chosen from a grand total of around 600 manufacturers. The goal of the competition is to draw more attention to the aspect of movement in offices and to focus on products that encourage physical activity in those environments. Aspects such as design quality, value and practicability also play a key role.

Following the showcase in Berlin, all products that received the Active Office Award can now be seen on an interactive 360° tour of the Active Office Award’s website. All the products are also shown in detail on their own website.
